This is definitely the best she’s ever sounded. It is southern in an authentic way that her country album never was. A lot of the Jessica-isms in her voice are either paired down or just… work in this context. I hope this gets a bit of traction.

This EP is better than I ever expected it to be. If this is what Jessica Simpson does on her own in 2025, congratulations, this is really nothing to be ashamed of, with some really good moments.
