Jessie Ware - That! Feels Good!

He/Him
The reality is that she's just not as big a star as we'd all love her to be. Her husband has a normal job. If she wants to have a very comfortable lifestyle for her family now and into the future, then she's absolutely right to take these gigs. As someone already pointed out, as least she and her husband aren't actual billionaire entertainers who needlessly and regularly cross picket lines and perform in countries with appalling human rights records.

Good for her!

She already gleefully threw her ‘credibility’ out the window the day she released an Ed Sh**ran-penned single and that didn’t even pay off ddd.

Thank god. And as if to double down, Pitchfork and that nasty review of Ed’s album really got her together.

Pregnant, horny, broke, she came on What’s Your Pleasure mad as hell!

"Credibility" is a transient and overrated concept anyway.

Record sales are tiny, revenue from streaming is minuscule and touring is expensive. I can't speak to what she makes from her podcasts but I doubt it's life-changing money. This is a fun, well-paid, relatively easy project that needn't affect her other endeavours at all. It really is a no-brainer.

Practically all the pop girls above a certain level of fame end up doing these kinds of gigs anyway, even the very biggest ones. It's not like anyone's going to think less of Jessie because of it, and if anything it shows how big of a name she's become. By some of the reactions you'd think she was doing Big Brother or something.

It's definitely not going to do any disservice to anything she's doing, but I think it's way more likely this came from the success of Table Manners than her music dd.

Dull question.

Has anyone received any confirmation that their personalised copy has shipped?

My personalized Banquet CD has been shipped. They're provided me with at least three different update emails for each status change, so you might want to check out your spam folders.

I got my signed copy from Amazon UK and I’m disappointed, I thought there was gonna be a slipcover situation with the packaging for the cd as well?! (It’s also a more zoomed in photo).

Also, does my purchase count for the US or UK?
