  2. Sam mentioning that Katy B would suit in Overtime? I never thought of it in that way but it's actually pretty good idea.

I need Jessie and Katy to collab again as they're match made in heaven.

I... had never heard "Overtime" until this week.

I don't think this holds a candle to the parent album as a collection (what would?) but it's still an incredible coda.

  5. The fact a Kathleen Anne Brien X Jessica Lois Ware collab album doesn't exist

How would I have listened to it when I was still in a Glasshouse-induced coma?

  8. Overtime is such a bop and one of 2018’s finest (coupled with Fast Slow Disco they make a delicious pair). I’m glad she went down this route.

I remember loving that song when it dropped, which was a relief as only a few of her songs had clicked with me in the past. I had no idea what a treat was to come with this whole era. I’m now a full time Warehouser.

So glad Overtime got its moment to shimmer on Platinum Pleasure.

  11. Overtime is still at least top 5 in her discography. After the deluge of 10/10s in the past year it’s harder to place anything else recent.
  12. Life goals is having someone as supportive as Sam in your life.

Also I love how #justiceforovertime made the video and how the dragging of Glasshouse got in too. GET THEM SAM.

  13. I am howling that he referred to Pale Blue Light as a nod to "the album that didn't do so well." Also living for Mz Jessica saying "beb that's not harmony, that's one single vocal."

  14. I remember listening to Overtime and being terrified at the possibility of it being just an outlier and the fourth album being even worse than the third. Thankfully mama Ware did her thing in the end.
  15. This is so right, her career was so different at that moment. It's incredible how much happened in the last year, this album is a classic.
