I got excited because I actually thought we had some good JLS news since I saw so many people posted in this thread.

I think JLS are great and I hope the song is successful for them. It has grown on me a lot.

seconded I hate it when people use the oh you like them because their fit comment what rubbish..

when they first audtioned I never even looked at their faces it was the talent in vocals and swagger that got me from 1st audtions to bootcamp. towards the live performances in the fourth week I was like wait a minute these guys are also handsome and can bloody sing.. well i;'ve watched them live once on the tour to know that they can not only sing live but have a beautiful personalities aswell and are not boasts.

Im so happy i got to meet the sey Jb awwwwww its a shame i've never got to meet the whole clan.. maybe one sweet day I will

They were good on the X Factor but Alex was infinitely better. Listened to the song, it sounds quite pleasant but pretty bland at the moment. It may grow on me, though.

PS, this thread is absolutely hilarious.

im a big big big fan of jls and it took me quite a few listens to get into beat again. these guys can sing but on beat again it sounds average maybe because of the computerised vocals. but I like it its catchy especially the beat towards the end of the chorus it has a nice dark electro in it sounds much better if you have headphones

i cant wait to hear Beat again on their live lounge!!!!

I didn't really like JLS on The X Factor, but Beat Again is very good. Proper capitalises on the Lady Gaga and Akon sound and I'd be massively surprised if it didn't hit number one.

Is it some bizzare side effect of repeated listening to rubbish X Factor cover versions or a blatant disregard for Mr Popjustices' rules cos they are haterzzzzzz?

I suppose Beat Again is fairly pleasant, cant exactly say it'll be a No1 smash though.

I'm gonna predict that it should be a number 7 smash hit! But it will probably be number 2. Then we get the number 17 album and curtain.

I do know what you mean but any of the use recently on the forum has been far from appropriate.

Yet they're still not singing their new song on Live Lounge. Is there a release date for Beat Again? Because they'll need to get promoting. I don't want them to perform at Capital Summer Ball doing their same X Factor set of Stand By Me/Beautiful Girls, Umbrella and I'm Already There. I'd like to actually see them doing the new song.

the release date i hear is july 13th. theyve already started their promotion radio1 shows it too. plus their is a jls appreciation day soon from jls fans

spiker thanks for reminding me about this live lounge of beautiful girls because I was supposed to watch this earlier but didnt have time as i was doing some work. brilliant vocals

yeah i've heard that and its beautiful its one of their best perfomances of that song ever. at least it goes out to people saying they cant sing. you got to hear everyone's voice . I love tthe reggee drum beat towards the end. and its so emotional towards the end when there is no instruments playing
