American Idol blows! The Apprentice is the only US reality show I like. Half of the TV I watch is British shows I find on YouTube lol.

  2. I can totally see this song scraping into the Top 10 at around number 8 for a week, then slipping down the charts quickly with a second single that bombs and leads to them being dropped in time for Christmas.

i really cant see that happening but this country is known for not spotting hits examples sugababes, frank, beverly knight etc

  4. We can but hope.

  5. I downloaded all of last seasons of Xfactor and im not sure what the whole JLS commotion is all about. Yes they are cute and wholesome but the only one that can sing is the short one. I think they need a whole lot of experience to make a dent anywhere.

I'd rather take my Tohoshinki/DBSK/TVXQ even though they sing only in asian languages.

There are a ton of great boy bands in Korea right now.

I really hate the way they insist on flexing their arms for photos. They just look stupid. WE GET IT, YOU HAVE GOOD BODIES. Bloody hell.

Also, enough with the color scheme. It just busies up the artwork. Pointless. It's so gimmicky. You can't be a R&B vocalists and the male Spice Girls at the same time.

  7. This is really quite good! Much better than I had originally expected from them. It's not going to set the world alight but it's just over half decent, which is a nice surprise. The production is quite ace aswell. And my mum just said it's quite catchy, so there.

On a side note, there is far too much negativity on this board. While I fully understand that everyone is entitled to have their own opinion, I feel that a lot of people on here are all to quick to jump on the 'hated them from the start, they are shit and always will be and they will fail' bandwagon. It gets a bit old. I only say this because had this song been released by some other band people wouldn't give it half as bad reviews or be so quick to plan their pop funerals.

  8. well thats what you think. I can confidently say it will be in the top 3. 1 million deal with Epic, Supporting PCD, SUPPORTED Lemar, soccer 6, mobo's, just admit it, this is soo JLS's year.

  9. I agree. They're unlikely to be the next Leona Lewis, but I could certainly see them having at least Lemar level success.

  10. It helps that their first single sounds quite American. And not in an English lower budget kind of way. I'm not quite sure what I mean by that, but I see it as a positive thing.

  11. Yeah, they've managed to steer away from the Westlife route too. Seems all of them are singing on it, I always thought the little guy Louis pushed to the front had the weakest voice!

I bet "Mary" WAS going to be the first single, until it got such a lukewarm reaction online.

  12. This is where I'd disagree. It sounds like a cheap knock-off of something the yanks do better. This is why they will fall flat on their faces in time for Christmas.

Personally I'll only u-turn on this position unless single #2 is better than this, which I'd doubt.

  13. It sounds no different to the kind of stuff Akon does. I wonder who produced it...

  14. That guy on the left is hideous. I don't like him, he's so... typical. ugh.

This isn't too bad, is it?

  16. Really i can't see them falling flat on their faces in time for Christmas at all. They have far to big of a fan base and support for that to happen.

You clearly have no idea what your talking about.

  17. I've been asked to post this from a Fan on the JLS official site

How can you criticise JLS with the songs they had chosen for them on the xfactor which they still smashed. And the new single will become number one and when it does all your silly comments will look stupid. Why don't you slag off artists that have been around for ages and haven't done so good unlike jls who are already famous, already have millions of fans and their single will already be number one.

  18. And this is why I wish PJ would close new registrations to the site like he did for most of last year. We don't need stupid JLS fangirls coming in and ruining the forum.

  19. Basically all we are saying is: watch this space.....
