2022 has been the year of SEVENTEEN for me. They have skyrocketed up my ult groups list (they may be #2 at this point). Here we have the repackage of their already stellar full length album Face The Sun. I can't wait to elbow teenage girls out of the way when I see them in concert next month. (Kidding, I'm up in the nose bleeds and will be watching from my seat like the old man that I am.)

Never in my LIFE have I stanned a group of non-singers like this! When the previews for title track "Sneakers" started to come out, it was pretty clear that it was going to be ... ahem, divisive. And I sort of championed it harder than any simply because I thought the whole thing was a riot and I loved the hysterics that were coming from fans and antis alike. The final product is a camp mess in the best way and is one of my most played songs of the month. The rest of the mini is smashes only, as only ITZY can do.

The way I had Now That's What I Call Music Vol 1 (which came out before some users on this forum where even born) on cassette tape. Anyway, this collection is a riot of perfect choices and strange choices (that Shawn Mendes song?) A notable exclusion from this is Janet Jackson's "Together Again" (which actually is on NTWICM vol 1 thank you very much).
