  1. This is... a parody?

  2. Oh is this the reason he grew his hair out? nn

I feel like the song would sound really good remixed.

  3. This is a Demi Lovato song

  4. Ugh, I was going to say the song is nice, but then the line “They criticized the things I did when I was an idiot kid” just reeks in the context of that including him saying the n-word (which yes, wasn’t specified, but that shouldn’t have been left vague). I can empathize with the pain and loneliness of being a child star, but there were some things he definitely deserved to be called out for.

  5. Just when you think he can’t get any worse...

  6. Oh, I see he's now taking the Demi self-pity route.

Quite a shift from Holy. dddddd.

  7. I actually really liked the "Yummy" video in terms of aesthetic, along with his current Vogue Italia spread. It's a shame the vaguely interesting moments he has are so few and far between and barely music related.

  9. Finneas has really been involved in the shittiest songs of the year (excluding Bikini Porn). From KKKamila's First Man, to Demi's attention seeking song, to this turd (to name a few).

    Billie better gather him.

  10. Friendly reminder that Noah fucking Cyrus of all people did it better last year.

  11. Ok,I'm in the minority, I loved it...

  12. Embarrassing.

  13. “They criticised things I did as an idiot kid” woe is you Justin, you still did them.

    Buffoon.

  14. I can hear the original Benny Blanco be some kind of 'bop' with a great beat but Scooter probably sent the track to Finneas and asked him to ruin it.

  15. I'm starting to think Finneas isn't as great as he thinks he is.

  16. So you put the blame on him for this song being trash? He is doing what Justin and his team wanted. And I didn’t see him telling us he is great, he seems very humble.

  18. It's just that his output with Billie is much different/better than whatever he's been doing on his own. It kinda confirms that the true genius is his sister.

Everything he touched (excluding Bikini Porn) is extremely one note and he's tarnishing his brand with these money grabs.

  19. I don’t agree with this at all. The chemistry on a studio is not something that happens with everyone. If you listen carefully, he uses his production with Billie in a totally different way. They are both incredible when they are together. You can’t expect him to do the same with artists like Camila, Justin which are very bland nowadays. His work with Ashe is also amazing, but that is because she is a great artist. The producer don’t have all the responsibility in my opinion, there has to be an inspired artist on the other side. This also is produced by Benny Blanco, Finneas co produced.

He wrote Ocean Eyes and invited Billie to sing it, that is how it started. There is no denying Billie is a genius but I think they really work better when they are together.

  20. That's in part what we're saying. His solo work, and select cuts (Ashe, Tove Lo ...) are great but he's tarnishing his brand by working on projects that are honestly beneath his talent. It seems like he found a formula where he's the go to producer for a bland ballad and they all sound really average at best (Lose You To Love Me, First Man, If The World Was Ending, the Demi song and now this).

I kinda expected him to do Top 40 with a twist but instead it's all very basic.
