How about we just celebrate that there are still some girlgroups able to pull such high numbers - which are comparable (but still sadly lower, in some cases) to successful boygroups who always have it easier?

I just think it's nice to see women being, you know, successful!

Hope Twice breaks the record again just for the meltdowns kii.

This might set the precedent for future Kpop releases. Having your single out for two weeks before the physical album release means that even people who weren't originally pre-ordering, will get to hear the song and then decide to pre-order. The way it is now, only existing fans will actually care about buying the album on the first day and then afterwards the gp will start buying.

Either way we stan.

I think it's an appropriate time to say I love that most of you enjoy girlbands over boybands over here, because the "casual" Russian KPop fandom is only into boys. I mean, I understand that they are mostly girls, who would like cute and handsome boys a lot more, but it's really sad, when only the boybands are being brought here, because "no one will go to a girlband concert".

I didn’t follow much about Purplebeck, I just knew their Twitter account was following back every followers and was interacting with them to help the group gain a social media presence...

After seeing y'all's comments I thought this might be the first TWICE song I could stan but it still didn't do much for me. The girls were cute in the video though, I will say that.

Also, my desire to not hear another BTS song after scoring the Gaon #1s rate fought with my wish to see the LOONA girls being amazing and the latter, naturally, won out. I love that kind of attitude from them.

Me being the only 31 year-old (what's good @BEST FICTION) male checking overpriced k-pop albums at the store, next to teen girls sighing over BTS and EXO physicals.

The disdain looks they throw at each other are a kii.

I’m late but Fancy You is such a tight mini - all the tracks range from listenable to A-Grade BAWWP. Even the obligatory mid-tempo is useable. I’m a bit shook because in my opinion, all their previous releases were absolute filler outside of the title.

Also Charli XCX might have all but abandoned the Sucker era but it’s keeping her fed because all the tracks she on-sells sound like Sucker outcasts ddd
