K-Pop (General Discussion)

I’m not too sure, but it looks like Seventeen reused some of the sets of BTS’s Corden performance?

It’s promising to me because this might mean they’re planning to have the other Big Hit performers like Enhyphen, GFriend and TXT perform for the international talk shows for exposure, too.

That was indeed one of the main talking points during the creation of Big Hit Labels, the fact that the acts they acquired would retain their overall independence but get more international promotion (along with more budget and varying degrees of musical input from Big Hit's producers and songwriters).

I just found out that Eden - ATEEZ's main producer is the creator of EDENARY, a production team which includes LEEZ, DREAMCATCHER's main producer and now it all makes so much sense musically.
Yep yep, LEEZ & Oullounder are the two names that come up the most, but EDENARY is highkey one of the best production outfits going. They’ve done a couple great Golden Child B-sides, as well as this triumph:

I'm in love with their sound honestly.

I recommend watching this episode of Erin Nam's podcast (and other episdoes too). Jamie is one of my favourite people in K-Pop personality wise and I love seeing her finally finding her footing and starting new chapter with her career.

fff they sound so good... I'm in real danger of becoming a Little Drip. Here for them becoming the neo-Infinite and letting Golcha continue to spin their wheels stay in their own lane.

Okay, so as promised I listened. Despite the fact that they divided up just a little bit more, I pretty much took one look at each of them and pegged which Infinite member they represented...or lines they would take.

I thought both the rappers did good, especially the one that took Hoya’s part. Umm, the more I kept looking at the one kid I was like, did Myungsoo have a baby? From like the bridge of his nose up, it’s crazy. Both who I’m going to assume are the main/lead vocalists are good and will only get better, however, and @Wills knows this, NOBODY will sing Woohyun’s part like him and give me that same feeling inside. I CANNOT explain it because he has superior vocals all throughout the groups and his discography but for me when I think of Woohyun I think of his part of the chorus. It’s like...remember when you were a kid and you either had a stuffed animal or a blanket you took everywhere and it was like your security blanket? In some strange way, that specific part of that song with Woohyun is my security blanket. (Which is why also the reason I judge everyone in the Sweettunes rate that bombed it.)

*This ends camden_italian’s therapy session for the month of January.*

I literally just finished watching this tonight! I really have no idea what her music is about but Jamie is hilarious as fuck with her sarcastic humor. JYP is getting a ton of shit recently (deservedly so) but I'm glad Jamie reemphasided how his stance on mental health has helped her alot when she need to take time off when she was with the company.

Mental health seems to be a continuous theme on Eric's recent podcasts and I'm glad he's shedding more light on it. He did another great interview with Nicole from KARA.
