Re: Queendom Puzzle, has any group positively benefited from Queendom? AoA kinda flopped with Come See Me despite the positivity from the show, Brave Girls had no boost - maybe the only one who had a continuous upward trajectory was (G)-idle but I would argue this would happen with or without Queendom.
Seems a vanity project for groups at this stage?

Regardless I could see Chungha, Somi, Everglow, StayC, Eun-bi and maybe Apink at a push maybe taking part this year? Others are smashing too much (I’ve, New Jeans, Le Sserafim) or are a bit too floppy like Cherry Bullet and Rocket Punch.

Oh My Girl definitely benefited from it. They went from being a solid middle-tier group to having two hit songs with Nonstop and Dun Dun Dance. Idle did too but they were always successful.

That said, I would stay far away from that shitty ass show after seeing the way Mnet completely ruined Lovelyz and VIVIZ by giving them awful edits. It'll never be said enough, Mnet is the devil.

That would be Rigend Film, that are also responsible for Nayeon's Pop, Twice's Scientist, Itzy's Loco, Woodz's Love Me Harder, Taemin's Want, among many, many others in kpop.

Some people are very mad about the anti-drop ddd I definitely got whiplash on the first listen but it works as a cheeky tease until you get to the real meat at the end. And the verses and pre-chorus are SO strong that it ends up working, you wanna stick around for them too. A reverse chorus expedition, if you will!

My gripe with the b-sides is that they are too short with no bridges, but I guess that's a widespread public health crisis at this point and it was a matter of time until it reached K-Pop.

I don't care for anti-drops usually but it works for this song. The chorus is a big a earworm. And like you said, the verses and pre-chorus are phenomenal. Feels nice to feel excited about a TXT comeback again.

Hopefully one day they'll make an album as strong as their first three again.
