Is Chung Ha not renewing her contract really a good thing? I mean, I guess it's good for her if it's what she decided to do, but she got to release a lot of great material with her previous company and seemed to have a nice budget both for the songs and the videos. Well, hopefully she'll move on to something better rather than worse.

She has been quite honest about being unhappy about her company and how slow they have been. I think she’s still famous and might get a much better deal elsewhere. She can also be a profitable touring act.

I guess we'll have to see, but for Chungha's own sake, I feel like it's a win. As mentioned she has been extremely vocal about feeling mistreated by the label, especially after the release of Sparkling when Bare&Rare Pt 2 was delayed indefinitely.

Don’t make me beat your ass, bestie!! Ddd

I’m also considering this a win. Starting from scratch, etc. is never easy, but she’s been very open about how unhappy she’s been and I think her talent and work ethic, in comparison to how management has handled her career, is proof enough that it’s not a copacetic relationship. I really hope the best for her and that some other company will give her the respect and attention she deserves.
