Their Japanese material is so good! I think this might be one of their best songs for me. Something about it is giving me Girls Aloud or Rachel Stevens album track. Sounds very mid 00s British pop to me somehow?

Classic sounds like an alternate take of Memory of You. Even their delivery sounds like Cheryl and Nicola on the songs. Sorta mind boggling. IVE really have been hitting it out the park with their recent releases.

I really wish I had paid attention to EXO back when I first got into K-Pop. Even if this new comeback sees the light of day, I'm not exactly wanting to support it now.

Something so dark sided about this page containing news of SM’s new boygroup, Shinee’s 15th anniversary comeback AND Exo contract drama… I’m not saying I don’t believe the allegations but it does confuse me. Why is Exo being offered 17 year contracts but Shinee and Red Velvet seemingly have regular contracts that renew every 3 years after their initial 7 years, as is standard for most companies since SM got sued by JYJ… I smell shenanigans.

I must admit that I am also confused by the 17-18 year contract thing. What was known from the first round of lawsuits in 2014-15 was that EXO signed 7 year contracts plus another 3 years for overseas activities. This matches Lay leaving last year after ten years. I don’t know how these extra years were added unless it’s something specific to CBX having another overseas contract for their Japanese activities? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

As for the new SM boy group, I bet that gets pushed up now as a distraction.
