I understand why they want to tour - it's where the real money is - but you need to lay the foundations for that before for it to work. tripleS would fair a lot better if they started joining those group tours that happen internationally (like the SBS Super Concert) where multiple groups perform as opposed to just one to test the waters first. It would expose them to a whole new audience who got tickets for another group and give fans who do want to pay to see them an opportunity to do so. It's a way of touring without making them lose money in the process.

They could’ve gotten away with going the LeoPresents route with much smaller venues, I think. They overshot with venue size by a lot.

It’s just a very saturated market right now, and the stakes for smaller groups from small agencies are lower. Too many US promoters want a piece of the K-pop pie and get carried away, but they don’t actually follow the scene dddd. K-pop shows are relatively cheap, because of the lack of live bands. The members can just walk straight to the bus to leave after the show ddd. But the more members a group has, the more money you stand to lose so… roundabouts.

Edit: Not me just finding out they’re playing the same venue that RED VELVET played when they were here. They set them up!!
