    Just googled her, she has cute extensions. The short haired girl just looks like a deer in the headlights all the time and her singing tone is awful.

    Imagine the vocals when Somi joins.

    I would be Twice's biggest hater.

  4. Hi ! Just wanted to say @Slice of Life you're write ups have me cackling along with everyones commentary. Wish I coulda been here to actively participate and comment along but I'm currently on vacation with terrible internet access and the excess use of gifs and images has me struggling but I need my daily dose of K-Pop messiness.

    Ok bye !

  5. This warms my heart so much. Enjoy your vacation, babe! x

  6. Hi, everyone! It's the fifth day of the GRAMAMA Awards. Are you still there ddddd?

    Our next category is a fun one so let's do that.

    ~FASHIONISTA OF THE YEAR~

    K-pop fashion is just on another level. It combines couture with crass... with varying degrees of success. These nominees represent the best and worst of K-pop fashion in 2016. And all of them are iconic. Let's take a look.

    @Lego
    @Deja-Boo
    @Monkey0

    ryan_riot92: If MONSTA X didn’t have Wonho, I probably wouldn’t keep my eye out for them. He’s a true visual blessing to K-Pop. Too bad MONSTA X have not lived up to expectation since NO.MERCY … It’s really sad and quite disappointing actually … Oh well, we still got Wonho so all is good with the world.

    He: I like the crop tops.

    junglefish: If my stomach was this flat I’d wear this every day, every night.

    Deja-Boo: But why isn't Key on this list?

    Monkey0: Making K-Pop even gayer. What a heroes!

    [IMG]

    Voters:
    @Squashua
    @McQueer
    @ThighHighs
    @SloMover
    @D is for Danger!
    @Mikl C

    Squashua: I hope and pray everyone in Korea starts dressing like pastel pink sperm cells in the future and it becomes their national dress. Porno-kweens of slutty bunny hop choreo and haute couture - when will your faves? Never.

    ThighHighs: They look like Bubblicious Bubble Yum. I'm down

    SloMover: I mean, who doesn't love pepto-bismal and calamine lotion?

    D is for Danger!: They're wearing Pepto Bismol coloured latex unitards for crying out loud! They deserve to win! Imagine the struggle they must go through to get in and out of those things!

    Slice of Life: I HONESTLY THOUGHT THEY WOULD WIN THIS CATEGORY IN LANDSLIDE FASHION!!! I should've voted for them. Sorry my Kweens! This was just such an iconic costuming!

    GOOD LUCK YOU'RE MY KITTY KITTY!

    The Kitty Kitty Girls finally won their first GRAMAMA. This is still such an iconic homage to Baywatch. It helps that the girls are so hot even before they donned their outfits. Even though I think the Six Bomb ladies are far more iconic, I will say that AOA is also a worthy winner.

    What about our lovely voters? What are their thoughts?

    Ceir is also all about that Baywatch life:

    AoA and that Baywatch realness.

    ajmkv values honesty more than hilarity, I guess:

    SIX BOMB UNNIES, YATHHHH. No, but honestly, in terms of fashion that I loved,
    AOA

    Watch out, D is for Danger! oppar! Vesperly is coming for your gig!:

    I have a sneaking suspicion that SixBomb will win this and I kind of want to vote for them, but I am so endlessly thirsty for AOA. Especially in those black outfits in Good Luck. Someone on PopJustice has got to thirst after the ladies, after all.

    Congrats, ladies! Please accept your GRAMAMA statuette!

  8. This is the first GRAMAMA win I feel personally victimised by (and one of those was Twice's vocal abilities).

  9. Even if I voted for AOA, I still think the Six Bomb unnies should have gotten this. I'm like TT.

  10. Our next category for today promises to bring the meltdowns. But will it?

    Let's find out.

    ~OVERRATED ARTIST OF THE YEAR~

    I didn't expect this to be a close battle to be honest. I thought one nominee would completely annihilate the competition. But I guess not. Three nominees fought until the bitter end just to win that coveted gold statuette. But who won in the end? Here are our nominees.

    ryan_riot92: I’m so ovah ha. Gurl Bye. We get it, you’ve got pipes but other than that, what has she got going for her?? She’s so (D is for Danger TM) BEIGE. I do not get the hype of her. The other members of GG have so much more going for them even if they don’t have her vocal talent.

    SloMover: *YAWN*

    Slice of Life: I've said what I want to say about Taeyeon. Girl needs to bring the bops ALL. THE. TIME. We get it. You have the pipes. But we don't want it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

    ajmkv: BLACKPINK in ur arrrreeeeaaaaaaaaa~

    Vesperly: I would have voted Twice but they’ve been overrated since conception and have a huge hatedom. Blackpink are also no good when it comes to vocals TBQH, but that’s rarely acknowledged. Rescue Rose’s voice, RIP Without You era.

    Monkey0: Don’t get it. Don’t want it. Keep it.

    [IMG]

    D is for Danger!: Let's not pretend that these girls are the freshest thing on the block. One of the most redundant acts to debut in a while. They are essentially 2NE2, left to feed on the scraps their elders abandoned once they disbanded. The girls are cute as hell and talented, but until they get to show their own personalities, rather than emulate their ancestors, I'm not interested.

    Slice of Life: Me to the people who voted for BLACKPINK:

    [IMG]

    I'm kidding. I actually get the criticisms thrown towards the girls. And I'm just hoping that they'll improve in the future. (PS: I need a Rose and Lisa subunit)

    @Squashua
    @He
    @Ceir
    @ThighHighs
    @junglefish
    @Deja-Boo
    @Mikl C

    Twice just narrowly beat BLACKPINK and Taeyeon. I didn't expect that. Kii.

    At this point, I have nothing more left to say to these girls. Just improve, okay? And we'll talk again after.

    But these voters still have a lot to say. Let's hear them out.

    Squashua, cyst, I screamed at the pre-recorded part!:

    Who else gets auto-number ones for 3 months despite hitting an average of 13% of their notes even when the performances are pre-recorded?

    He, the essayist, comes back one last time to bury Twice:

    The level of popularity of these girls is directly proportional to their singing abilities as a group. I do not get how they got here, I know they come from a reality show, and everyone fell in love with them, but their success level seems crazy even for that.

    It’s impressive but appalling at the same time.

    The TT video is shit and I have yet to see a good performance by them. But I get my life at how bad their performances usually turn out. So yeah, keep being terrible, girls.

    Not you Momo, you’re cool when not singing. Go help Chungha get famous!

    Ceir comes for Nayeon's most recognizable feature!:

    If I see Nayeon’s fucking chipmunk teeth one more time….

    ThighHighs is just tired at this point... me too, cyst. Kii!:

    I've said it all already. They don't have the talent or songs to back up their success.

    And junglefish, cyst, I hope this is the last time you'll be calling Twice as trash. You promised already! Hehe.:

    As I said before TWICE ARE SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s my objective point of view, deal with it.

    Congrats (???), ladies! Please accept your GRAMAMA statuette!

    [IMG]

    DAMN. I JUST REALIZED TWICE WON ALL THE THREE CATEGORIES THEY'RE NOMINATED IN!!! LEGENDS ONLY!!!

  12. Woo, that last category was rough. Why don't we do a positive one next?

    Let's do that!

    ~KAMSAHAMNIDA AWARD~
    aka BLESSING OF THE YEAR

    Despite 2016 being a mess of a year, it still provided us with a few iconic moments to be thankful for. CHARITABLE KWEEN! Here are a few of those...

    [IMG]

    1. A full year of messery
    2. Produce 101
    3. Ladies' Code's return
    4. f(x) finally has a fandom name
    5. More awesome music

    Voters:

    None

    [IMG]

    Slice of Life: Even the f(x) stans of this forum didn't vote for this. I CAN'T! But it's totally understandable since this event wasn't all that really. It's cute and heartwarming but nowhere near as iconic as the other nominees. NEXT!

    ~4TH PLACE~

    [IMG]

    LADIES' CODE'S RETURN

    Voters:
    @ryan_riot92
    @Gintoki
    @Deja-Boo

    ryan_riot92: I mean we did have some pretty awesome tracks come out of this year (“Someone Like U”, “FRI.SAT.SUN”) but the greatest thing of all for me was the return of one of my favorites groups. They may have changed their sound up quite a but however, it was kind of amazing. Smooth, electro bangers are what I’m into and that’s what these were! That being said, I’m ready for the return of sassy, spunky Ladies’ Code too. Maybe someday.

    Slice of Life: Don't worry, Gintoki, babe. I'll give Ladies' Code the award that they deserve. Stay tuned. x

    ~3RD PLACE~

    MORE AWESOME MUSIC

    Voters:
    @Aries
    @McQueer
    @Slice of Life
    @Vesperly

    McQueer: More amazing music in a year that has been hell for everyone :)

    Vesperly: What else?

    Slice of Life: I am truly ecstatic for the future of K-pop. 2016 showed us that the newer groups are ready to lead us to new and exciting territories in music. Don't fail me, kids!

    Ceir: The full-blown messery!

    Monkey0: “Shaman Unnie being revealed as Korea's true HBIC??? Tragic. But iconic.
    Taeyeon and Wiz Khalifa's misunderstanding??? Meh. But also low-key iconic.”

    I live for the drama! One way we woke up and realise we live in Shaman Unnies world. Truly, honestly she even blacklisted nearly 10 000 celebrities! Also, worth mentioning is China just being done with Korean artists! EXCEPT T-ARA.

    [IMG]

    D is for Danger!: 2016 proved to be one of the messiest years ever, especially in the world of kpop. Scandal after scandal brought out the worst in the kpop fandom. I live for the mess, just as much as I do for the music.

    Slice of Life: YOU MESSY CYSTREN! I LIVE! I'm sad that this didn't win only because Shaman Unnie would've won another award. Oh well, there's always next year.

    What a fitting gift to a dying nominee. KII.

    I kid, I kid. To all the Produce 101 hunties, this one's for you. You've had it tough all year long. You've suffered embarrassment from the release of Dream Girls. You've suffered sadness when netizens hated Yeonjung after stealing Somi's thunder. You've suffered from the lack of activities of the group. You had it tough and I salute y'all for sticking it out till the end.

    Let's hear your thoughts, my girls.

    I frankly don't know the name of Yeonjung's victim here, Squashua cyst, but I am still absolutely living:

    Not really for I.O.I but because 38% of the musical output from this year was from P101 alumni and that's only going to increase next year. Plus I will never tire of:
    [IMG]
    [IMG]

    ajmkv values impact more than heartwarming moments, I see:

    flkajdkfj all of them? Ladies' Code coming back warmed my heart.... but the most impactful K-Pop event this year, for me, was
    Produce 101

    ThighHighs thanks Produce 101 for introducing ha to a whole new magical world of nugus!:

    I have loved Kpop for years, but this show is what really threw me into it. Along with the countless moments of amazing television and great stories from the contestants, this show was a jumping off point to learn about new groups, new songs, and the history of Kpop. I was previously only a 2NE1 and SNSD fan, and knew only assorted other songs by f(x) and 4Minute, but this show broadened my horizons and I can't be more thankful!

    junglefish's life was forever changer by that one song:

    I know it was a mess but seeing those 101 (or 97 whatever) girls sing Pick Me Up was truly a life changing experience.

    SloMover is a Chungha stan. That's all I'm getting from this comment.:

    I vote for Produce 101 but I'm really voting for Chungha.

    And we'll end with He. Babe, sorry for dragging your I.O.I girls so much. Also, this comment is all kinds of amazing.:

    This show brought me so much life! I loved all the fuckery and the drama and the talented and amazingly non talented girls this show gave us.

    I even discovered so much music through the show: I listened to Into The New World for the first time (out of two, one was painful, guess which one); all those not so great but great girl group debut songs (not Apink’s though); the above average concept songs; I found Sunmi and Wonder Girls thanks to queen Sohye’s dancing; GodSejeong came into my life; pure talent Chungha showed up after a while; Yeunjung shone with her voice; the Fantagio girls served performance skills in spades; the Plediz girls showed their allroundedness; Mina tried to diet and was the cutest at it; Chaeyeong showed how amazing plastic surgery can be; and unfortunately, Somi tagged along, too.

    And Insun, and Haein, and Hyeri, and LOEN Soyeon… so many great ladies.

    Coach BYJ, Kahi and JeA were amazing. Cheetah had some words some times, and the other woman was barely there.

    Two of my friends became obsessed too and now we have an all k-pop messaging group, and we even gifted pretty kpop albums to each other for xmas.

    @roux’s rate was incredible too! Do check it out, girls. I still hope it gets turned into a digital book or something. It’s too good to be left alone.

    Thank you disgusting creators of the show; your intentions were awful, but the results were incredible.

    While y’all were being busy losing shit over TWICE’s ringtones disguised as song me and women of Korea were squirting every week when this man appeared on We Got Married or Cool Kidz on the Block. Jota (Lee Jong Hwa, 22, from Busan) is rapper of MADTOWN. He came to prominence in 2016 thanks to many TV appearances where he showed his unique charms. Firstly on sports show Cool Kidz on the Block where he paraded in taekwondo uniform and kicked everybody’s asses then showed how romantic, manly, shy, perfect man he is on We Got Married.
