Kacey Musgraves - Deeper into the Well

First listen thoughts:
I added Ruthless forever ago so I'm already well versed and obsessed with this one.

There is something very John Denver about the melodies and production of Little Sister. Gorgeous!

Flower Child is very Laurel Canyon. Aly & AJ fight back! (This is also gorgeous.) Love the flute in this one. Sounds right out of the new Clairo album (but with more pep.)

Superbloom is great! Based on the three tracks so far, there is definitely a different vibe to these deluxe tracks. They don't sound "out of place" from the main album, but as a suite of songs they definitely give a different feel.

Perfection takes after it's name, and instantly becomes one of my favorite tracks on the album. It's the closest thing to Lonely Millionaire on the album.

Deeper Well is way more a folk album than a country album to me, and Arm's Length is the closest thing to a "country song" on here. Wow this is incredible. Absolutely beautiful. Her voice is magnetic.

I've already sung my praises for Irish Goodbye. It's a gorgeous closer to the album.

Overall, an incredible addition to an incredible album. It had already solidified itself as my second favorite album of the year (sorry Ari, Taylor, Billie, and Omar), and this just cemented it with no chance of wavering. She really did it again.

Agreed. Superbloom has a cute rhythm to it and Irish Goodbye is my fave of the bunch but they're not essential like the main album is front to back.

Is Arm's Length the best song of all time?
