She seems to be genuinely incapable of making a body of work that’s anything less than stellar. I’ve been listening to this for days now and still feel there’s so much more to unravel. Aguardiente y limón has been on my mind endlessly today.
The sheer range of this record feels unmatched in her discography thus far. Like, seamlessly shifting between intimate sensuality to all out drama (across god knows how many sonic and cultural influences) but tied together though the presence and gravitas her voice has on just about anything. This is fast becoming one of my favourite albums of the year already.
Guys, can you recommend me more music that has the same vibe as La Luna? It’s really pleasing to my soul at the moment. Of course, the whole album is magical, I knew Kali gonna serve it.

Mmm this album is so plush and luxurious. Listening to it shuffled with positions is maximum comfort.
I know I'm alone here, but I was quite disappointed considering how much I loved the EPs and Isolation. I love the interludes, but the rest lack a little something for me. It's definitely a mood, so she achieved that, but overall it's a huge step down for me. Even with the step down, she's still one of the best pop girls out there, so god knows I'm perched for what's next.
