Fans wanting already-leaked songs on official releases is so odd, like give me the unheard shit dddd.
I just want them mastered and mixed honestly. I like her demo of Black Widow but it sounds like, well, a demo. Also some songs like Immortal Flame are really good so it’d be nice if they got wider exposure than people coming across it on YouTube.
But yes, more songs we haven’t heard is ideal.
There's also an element of seeing certain songs we love being "validated" and acknowledged.
This was kind of awful. The more I listen to this song the less I like it. I enjoy the direction of it sonically. It just plays for me like it never quite got finished and lyrically she's sort of done this topic before, and while Hey Hey Hey may not be a top tier Katy song, the tongue in cheek vibe to it works better than the sincerity of What Makes A Woman.
After not listening to this album in a while, returning to it is such a great experience. “Teary Eyes” really just pops doesn’t it. Gorgeous career highlight.
Watch it ending up a swing affair to prove a point.
Or worse, a stripped down ballad version.
