What's your point? I said they haven't played it today or at least haven't since 8.30 this morning. I was expecting an Ed Sheeran style takeover with it being played every 3rd song.
I like the slight reverb to the main synth & her vocals. It gives the song a dreamy, atmospheric vibe that I love, especially with the almost-mechanical sounding beat.
I'm digging the laid back feel connecting Boner Petite, Chained and Witness. Everything feels a bit more cool and confident than your run-of-the-mill Katy track.
Even though it's pretty bouncy and pop, it does sound like a progression from her previous work. The production is different for both her and Max in my opinion.
You're right and I suppose I was looking at the whole thing from a more black and white perspective. At the end of the day, everyone loves a mindless sex bop and most of our favorite female popstars are really good at delivering them.
I dunno how people are saying Migos is useless when they give us the two classic lines: "I- Grab her legs and I divide I- I make her do donuts when she rides" & "Whipped cream. No dairy."
Radio will never eat this up. This should flop, I still don't get over how what this is. She can do way better.
