Tinashe AND Dawn on the same album?! Oh fuck yes.
Just got back from the album launch show. What a set. I thought we’d just get the new album but we got 2 hours with the new tracks followed by a greatest hits of sorts.
Can confirm that the new album is as good, if not better than what’s come before it and he said he’s already got the next one ready to go.

Ohhh this album is a winner. It's the middle of winter where I am right now, but between this and BRAT I feel as though I've been transported somewhere warm with a drink in hand.
I love that this features so many of my favourite underappreciated divas (Ravyn, Rochelle, Tinashe, etc), but of all of them I'm most excited about this potentially bringing a new audience to THEE Dawn Richard. Her track is super smooth and accessible and I added it to my best of 2024 playlist before my first play of it was even over ddd.

I immediately ran to the Ravyn Lenae track.
The album launch was such a great experience, the whole thing slaps and watching his excitement/passion for each track was so nice, wasn’t sure if I could afford All Points East on August but there is no way I’m missing him.
Huge amount to digest today, but Anderson’s flow gliding over that Do 2 Me instrumental is kind of insane.
Potentially struggling a tad to warm up to that run of first 6 songs but the album truly arrives with Still for me. The Tinashe, Anderson .Paak and Pink Pantheress collaborations are the ones I have on heaviest rotation for now.
