The soundscape doesn't vary too much, so there's times where things blend into one a little bit but overall, another really strong effort from my king.
Still is gorgeous. But nothing else is standing out to me. So much of his stuff blurs into one these days. Yes it's sleek but where's the excitement? The hooks that pop? I'm not hearing a 10% or a What You Need.
Album title is ultra uninspired and the music reflects it I fear.
I am loving this, so great to put on and enjoy the flow- helps that I love most of the featured vocalists. It’s a great complete album listen and it gets better with repetition.
I love this album. It's simultaneously an easy listen when you just want something to vibe to and an interesting listen when you want to drown in all the production and ear candy.
What a nonstop groove of an album. I should say that I wish he'd switch it up or that I wish his sound/this collection had more variety, but he does what he does SO well that I'm happy he continues leaning into his bag. This is the sort of immersive bop-fest that sucks you in and keeps you moving for its entire run; it's perfect for predrinks, for long night drives, for photoshoots... it's the sort of thing I want in the background of my life at all times.
Is Kaytranada singing on Stepped On? I don’t know his music outside of the albums/EPs, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard him sing on a track before. I hope he brings vocals at All Points East.

I’m kind of surprised more people aren’t talking about this on here. It’s probably my album of the year and will likely end up being my favourite Kaytranada album.
I really think he upped his game here, and diversified his sound. I mean, the diversity in sound between Feel A Way, Still and Video is stark, yet they flow and all feel essential.
