Ke$ha - Warrior

Re: Ke$ha - Warrior (2nd Album)

'Warrior' might be my favorite song so far.

Looking forward to the HQ's.

CUT THE BULLSHIT OUT WITH A DAGGER.

I hope its all out by the morning!

CRAZY KIDS IS AMAZZING. I love all the leaks/singles/everything so far. I am a very happy ke$ha stan. There is just something about her, I can't help but be REALLY attached to her more then every other star ever. Except maybe Robyn. but ke$ha is a real jem.

Supernatural is very good. I don't understand why Die Young was the lead single. Everything else seems much better.

I'm fresher than that Gucci,
Them boys they want my coochie,
I say no I'm no hoochie,
Yo' Homegirl hating I say who she?
Ke$ha don't give two fucks,
I came to start that ruckus

Literally slays entire careers, I couldn't be more excited for this album.

Re: Ke$ha - Warrior (2nd Album)

Well, Supernatural, Crazy Kids and Warrior have all made me excited for the album! Any way I can get that Fan edition in the UK?

Supernatural is good but Die Young works better as the lead. I find with Supernatural the production and some of the vocals a bit 'cut and paste' and it loses its flow the chorus is about the only thing that keeps it going, still a great track though.

Re: Ke$ha - Warrior (2nd Album)

these were the three i was most excited about.
i wish the verses of supernatural were stronger, other than that, they are all great tracks

Re: Ke$ha - Warrior (2nd Album)

Supernatural's chorus is eclipsing everything else on the song, so I can't fully appreciate it.

Warrior is giving me life, and the production on Crazy Kids is amazing. THIS ALBUM NEEDS TO LEAK, and I'm truly sorry for saying that.

Re: Ke$ha - Warrior (2nd Album)

Warrior is my favourite by a long shot at the moment, i'm so over these drop back choruses though!
Dr Luke's been doing them for pretty much every production since HIAM and enough is enough.

Re: Ke$ha - Warrior (2nd Album)

Sadly, it seems Die Young is the best song on the album.

Re: Ke$ha - Warrior (2nd Album)

So some are saying Supernatural is a rip-off of the Waldo's People track, Lose Control.

Having had a listen to Lose Control, it does sound like Dr. Luke is a Eurovision fan. I don't like the verses of Supernatural on first listen. I was expecting it to be melancholy in the Harold Song kind of way. Hopefully the instrumental is released soon so I can make a version with just the choruses.

1. C'mon
2. Warrior.
3. Die Young

4. Crazy Kids

5. Supernatural

Basically.

Re: Ke$ha - Warrior (2nd Album)

I'm not listening to any of these leaks. 'Die Young', 'C'Mon', and 'Supernatural' have been enough to tide me over. This album is going to be fantastic.

Re: Ke$ha - Warrior (2nd Album)

Quite a few of her songs sound the same, don't they? I think that's why I'm having trouble really getting into her, it feels like once you've heard Take It Off, you've heard it all... Which is a shame, she's so talented.

In other semi-related news, my mom banned me from listening to Crazy Kids around her. Yay for being 18!

Re: Ke$ha - Warrior (2nd Album)

I feel like this album won't be quite as "instant" as Animal (which is one of the most "instant" albums I've ever listened to), but I think it will have aged a lot better than the aformentioned in a year or two.

Re: Ke$ha - Warrior (2nd Album)

I think she's simply used up all the magic between her and Luke, much like how Gaga did with RedOne.

I mean, after TIK ToK, Take It Off, Kiss N Tell and Your Love Is My Drug, where do you go from there? The brilliance of Cannibal is due more-so to Billboard and Ammo, who is also responsible for The Harold Song. Sleazy is due to Bangladesh and Blow due to Kool Kojack and Benny.

The weaker tracks feel like obvious examples of Luke's hand in the production, while the stronger tracks are his production team who he gets a vanity credit from, which explains why he's literally on almost all of the album, though I doubt he actually produced all of it.

Re: Ke$ha - Warrior (2nd Album)

The way this is leaking is so old school.

Ke$ha would be proud.

Warrior really pushes all the right buttons.
The lower-to-higher-repetition of Warrior is great.
