Contact has ended up making all the other singles click way more with me, just like Escapism did for all the RAYE pre-release tracks eventually… so, slay.
She’s been announced for Field Day, which honestly I’m in two minds about. Would have preferred an All Points East day where I could have maybe seen some more R&B/Alt/Pop acts as opposed to a full oonts oonts line up.
Although looking at the line up: Sudan Archives and SBTRKT… I could get on board with this.

Of course she’s playing Field Day the one day in the second half of the year that I have plans! Just praying I get on waiting list for her London date but I’m not feeling hopeful.
I read on somewhere on twitter that 'Contact' gives strong Playstation 2/Dreamcast soundtrack vibes and I totally feel that and can't unhear.

It also sounds extremely similar to the Twilight Realm in Zelda, just slightly sped up.
