Kelly Clarkson

he/him
Speaking of Heartbeat Song, Anyone notice it's basically a copy of this song?

It dawned me on earlier while i was out shopping cause both songs just happened play after each other and my mind was blown. Surprised no one noticed cause it's so blatant.

There was a lot of talk about them being so similar when it came out. Most reviews mentioned it I think.

I love her singing R&B honestly.

Also, “My Life…” was the best single off that album but I don’t think it’s too similar to “Since U Been Gone”. I do find “End of the Road” a sibling song to “I’ll Make Love To You” funny enough.

What's funny is I think the biggest "2.0" in her discography is I Forgive You....lyrically it's obviously different, but sonically it follows the same exact template as Since U Been Gone. Still a bop though!

Not releasing Don't Let Me Stop You is probably the biggest WTF moment of her career, hands down. It was RIGHT THERE, Life Would Suck had just restored radio goodwill/support - the era would have easily been as big as Breakaway (although, admittedly with an inferior album), I don't know what they were thinking.

I blame Katy Perry. I don't know how, I don't know why, but I hold her responsible.

I Do Not Hook Up is fantastic and should have probably been a single at some point, though I do think Long Shot and Don't Let Me Stop You are stronger options.

My Life Would Suck Without You
Don't Let Me Stop You
Already Gone
Long Shot
I Do Not Hook Up
If I Can't Have You

We were never getting more than 4 singles but a run. And that doesn't even account for the title track and The Day We Fell Apart being obvious singles on any other album. It really is my favorite Kelly album, although Breakaway is probably her best.
