I think what I was trying to say was the "funner sounding", "poppier" tracks, as opposed to being joyous. Judas isn't exactly a bundle of sunshine.

It wasn't a smash hit but it still sold a fair deal more than most albums around today, it was very popular all around the world, even peaking at #2 here in the UK.

It never reached Breakaway's dizzying heights due to lack of label support and basically no singles, but it still did pretty well.

Many albums have peaked high and not really been popular at all. "My December" is a perfect example.

Every Kelly Clarkson thread seems to turn into this discussion. To be honest, the best thing that could happen is for Kelly to admit that it was a mistake or some kind of rebellion (a la P!nk with "Try This"). It would draw a line under the whole sorry thing.

I actually really liked the album cover, although it looks so out of place in iTunes next to the other Kelly albums.

I can't believe she let airbrush torn tights to her image as well...

It looked like her at the time. If you compared it to now you wouldn't think it was the same person.

I loved most of the Breakaway and My December shoots.

Someone said before she was never hot but she can be hot when she tries. I always thought of her as hot pre-My December. Even on AI she had that good-looking normal girl look going on - and she wasn't stick skinny then and doesn't need to be whenever she decides to loose weight.

To be fair Vas, she was that size back in 05/06... not much airbrushing there big man!
