Kelly Clarkson

I often think about how they completed wasted Would You Call That Love as a single.

Recently revisiting this song and it's so underrated. The background vocals are so good, and I love the bridge.

I've always thought her voice took on a somewhat different tone throughout a lot of 2006 and early 2007 for some reason, it's pretty distinct to that point in her career....I don't know if it was a result of building it up over all of the touring she had been doing, but it sounded a little darker and more emotional somehow...when all of those older unfinished demos leaked, you could easily tell which ones were from the My December sessions. It's weird because it kinda went downhill for a little bit after that by the time she was promoting the album, but thankfully she built it back up after that.

Is Natural Woman on Thankful the same as on the American Idol compilation? I think I hear slight differences but am not sure

Don't know if this is common knowledge but Kelly isn't returning to next season of The Voice. She's been replaced by Camila Cabello. Saw someone repost Camila's tweet below.

That was announced back in May I think. I know she kept saying she needed to take the summer off but I really hope this is a permanent departure. It’s such a waste of time.

Depends on how you look at it I guess. It's a "waste of time" if you look at it as a distraction from her recording career, but that hasn't exactly been top of her priority list for years anyway. Something she has in common with the returning Gwen (I'd say Camila is more the replacement for Ariana, who was never likely to stick around anyway). Plus it still pays pretty well even with a fraction of the audience it once had.
