Love Is Holy is an anthem, I was so pleased it gave Kim another Top 20 hit after the floppage of the previous era. I expect it will do well in the upcoming rate. It's such a rush.

Kim’s original is truly immaculate. It’s easy to write her off but most covers of her songs lack a certain something that she has. Kim might not have the strongest vocals, but she is a storyteller with her vocals.

Only a bona fide 80s pop vixen such as Kim or Samantha Fox could convincingly deliver the lines:

Ricki and Kim are both such fantastic song writers. Like their father too.
Yes, always loved that about her lyrics and the way she sings them. She is telling the story with feeling, not trying vocal acrobatics. Claire's cover was always to be on the nose but it's fun and that's how she sings.

They did the same with the Steps cover of 'The Slightest Touch'.
Kim Wilde's blonde ice cool is in another league to Claire's glum foghorn - you can literally see her plan what she's having for dinner in her head as she bellows it out in time to beat the traffic.
