It just splits up discussion even more. There's a general thread, individual live show threads, so each contestant could be posted about in three different places. I just don't think it's worthwhile.

No, this is the correct way.

None of the lessers need their own thread, but Queen Kitty has too much fabulousness and goings-on outside of the live shows that it can't be contained in a more generalised fashion.

I agree. We don't need threads for all of the acts, just the good ones.
