TXT is one of the most popular boy groups and their leader Soobin is probably the most popular member, especially after his time a a Music Bank MC with Arin, so this result is not surprising. I think a lot of people discovered Soobin from the super viral Dolphin fancam, kinda including me too since it came out right around the time I was getting into the group. Soobin's cuteness captures not only the hearts of the audience, but also of other idols, who always seem to fall head over heels for him whenever he's MCing, dancing, etc.

There really was no competition, this was his year. Mingyu's popularity has been growing in proportion to the size of his arms and ti- ...chest. He's also been very good at displaying his best features on Instagram. And good lord, I didn't even know he was this tall, what the fuck. May god bless whoever their stylist is for giving Mingyu a transparent, sleeveless top to wear on tour. May god strike all the fansites that airbrush his pits or ruin his gorgeous honey skin tone with those pale filters. Amen!

Well, I thought it was fun. Maybe people just didn't comment on it a lot because it was a side thing rather than the main event, and that, well, it'd be a bit weird to say this or that idol should've placed higher or lower and stuff like that. But it definitely added extra flavour to the rate.

I think TXT was the only group to have all members in the ranking (even though I only voted for 3 of them) so I will take that as a personal victory, kii.

That one was worded “Favorite” not “Hottest” and I emphasized that a lot, so that’s also part of it!
