ANNYEONG~~~
SloMover - pre-debut SNSD member, former YG trainee, former After School Pre-School girl, auditioned for JYP but was beat out by Dahyun, and Produce 101 contestant (ranked #286!) - reporting in for duty.
Easter not only sees the Easter Bunny thotting about and Jesus being the ultimate stunt queen with ha resurrection, but also the eagerly awaited (kind of) 9th edition of the K-Pop Justice Song Contest!
So what's this round's theme?
KPSC IX: THE ALBUM TRACKS
Would we stan acts like SHINee, EXID, Red Velvet or LOONA as hard as we do if their album tracks weren't so experimental and strong? Probably, but we wouldn't have the in depth conversations that we currently do. Sure, title tracks are were all the effort is put in, and historically Kpop is a genre that is textbook definition of 1x killer single surrounded by a sea of filler dirge (e.g. see my Sistar rate!) - but in recent years, groups have really come to care about the art of an EP/mini-album/album, crafting strong bodies of work. Nowadays the album tracks really reveal the musical identity of an act.
So lets give thanks to the unsung heroes of Kpop - the songs that we love just as much as the titles, but are only ever performed on tour (if the group is popular enough to tour) or in a horribly butchered edit on the music shows (again, only if the group is popular enough to warrant a second stage).
HOW IT WORKS:
What can't I enter?

HOW IT WORKS:
- PM me your chosen album track
- ONLY ONE SONG PER ARTIST IS ALLOWED, if a song and/or artist has already been submitted, you will need to submit another track by another artist.
What can't I enter?
- NO songs previously submitted in prior rounds (See Master List HERE + Round 8 entrants HERE)
- NO title songs - this includes sub-titles (e.g. BLACKPINK's Don't Know What To Do or Forever Young) or joint titles (e.g. 2NE1's Go Away/Clap Your Hands/Can't Nobody)
- NO songs with official videos (e.g. After School's Play Ur Love or Red Velvet's I Just, despite how shit the video is)
- Album tracks only!
- Songs performed on any of the music shows are fine, as long as they don't fall into any of the above exclusions
- Other language releases by Kpop acts are permitted
- Wednesday 1st of May - no strict time deadline, whenever the last timezone crosses over to the next day.
