Really love the idea of these rewind rates and hope we can make them happen every year. It was so tough chosing 10 cause 2012 was such an excellent year for music.

I started getting into k-pop late 2012/early 2013 and it was the BEST time. I always love to find out what era people got into kpop because I feel so many did in 2012/2013 with the output being so strong. (Although my first foray was Sorry Sorry by SJ in 2008 which I became obsessed with on holiday)

A couple slow months on the release radar have sent me digging through Kpop herstory once again, so this side rate is happening at the perfect time. I'm not sure that my personal 2022 top ten quite matches my 2012 picks, but a) that's a mighty high bar to clear, and b) it came far closer than either of the two previous years!

More than anything, it's just great to celebrate Kpop past and present. And yes I'll recant if The Chaser fails to make top 10!
