I’m really surprised. "LOVE DIVE" was one of those songs that really defined last year's K-Pop. I didn't get obsessed with it until much later, but I'm glad I did because it's a hit. I can’t say I’m mad since I adore both "INVU" and "ANTIFRAGILE". I gave one of those my 11, of course I'd prefer it if one of them won over the other, but I'm happy either way.
Taeyeon was the first idol I really obsessed over when I first got into K-Pop just when "Spark" came out. It was the first K-Pop album I bought too. I've liked all of her music since, but "INVU" was the first time I felt the same way I did when I first heard "Spark" with her music. It's a delicacy of a song. As always, Taeyeon sounds divine and the production is exactly the type of sleek dance I like. And let's not forget the concept photoshoot, that's how you serve cunt.
"ANTIFRAGILE", on the other hand, felt incredibly refreshing. I liked "FEARLESS" and I expected them to stay in a very similar lane to that. I remember being gagged when the first teasers came out. It was a really unexpected turn but it really worked for me. It's such a solid comeback, one that made me go from liking LE SSERAFIM to adoring them. I love it when I have no idea what a group is going to launch at me next.
Ultimately, I would have switched some of the top ten, but overall, I'm pretty pleased with the results. Sorry about it!
