Kylie: K25 Releases and Events.

haha. I read in an interview of hers once stating that she feels she is able to continue to be friends with her exes because she never expects anything to last to begin with. An interesting perspective . . .

Yes she is very Buddhist like that.

shes nice but a bit boring. White Diamond was testament to that

Being boring and being guarded are two very different things. I'd say Kylie was far from boring.

There were reports that Kylie was instrumental in editing the White Diamond footage down so much that William was basically left with nothing, resulting in the nice enough but pretty dull film. I think I remember him saying how frustrating that experience was too, because she vetoed so much.

I often crave knowing more about Kylie's personal life and I'm sure an autobiography (if she let her guard down) would be absolutely fascinating. However I really think that her lack of desire to sell the 'official' photos of her recent holiday with Andres to Heat magazine, or appear on reality TV has done her career a lot of good. She has a certain mystique and grace that NO other celebrity I can think of has, she keeps us wanting more yet gives us just enough to keep us happy. I'd agree with Dennis, it is something I respect massively about her, I think the industry as a whole does too.

But come on Kylie, if you really insist on pursuing the acting, keep away from musicals filled with, what will inevitably be, very predictable song choices that we've heard a million cover versions of already.

Because if she were black the story of her life would be more interesting ?

"I listen to Wow all day, but I only read autobiographies of poor, ugly, black women from Mali."

Jesus...
I just wanted to make a point that the way she grew up probably doesn't make for an interesting read. So she took some drugs and had some relationships, who didn't? (mind you I think that many autobiographys on the market are superfluous).
I know she's intelligent and she has something to say, she actually gave some very interesting interviews in the last few years. If she were to write an essay on her thoughts on pop music or the business, I would eat that up!

Also, I kinda like that we don't know every little detail about her personal life, I feel it adds to her star persona.

I'd love a music-only Kylie book.
Even if it was by someone else like Like An Icon by Lucy O Brien
which covers Madonna's music career very well.

I do not care about personal stuff so much, unless it's integral to the music.

She should write her autobiography.

I know its not necessarily a popular idea, but 25 years is a good time, and she has plenty to talk about. Far more interesting than most popstars biogs.

I would love to see a two hour documentary.

an autobiography would be nice but I don't read books.
You know, I wouldn't be at all surprised if she does a musical next. A big West end or Broadway one. 'Abbey Road' is almost like an audition piece. 'Look I CAN sing!'. A musical would fulfill both her singing and acting desires in one go. I'd imagine finding the right role for her would be the next big thing. I really think that will be her next project.

Ugh! Okay. No.

I always knew about the financial side, didn't know he was so involved in the music, too.
I bet he posts here too and listens to the charts all the time.

I hope her team is aware of her *star power* these past few days and that they want Kylie to be super relevant again through the whole world. I just hope Kylie can find a great manager that can give her more success.

I think a good comparison would be Kate Moss (although Moss gives precisely no interviews) - both have an air of 'old star' about them, their enduring celebrity is due to them being 'all things to all people' - they never publically contradict anyone's perception of them...

Autobiographies that aren't written by people who are on their deathbed or at least seen most of their lives pass them always make me cringe a bit. I'd rather someone else (say, William Baker, for example) do that for her. There are so many things for her to do yet, so many waisted opportunities she could have taken during K25: the unreleased/b-sides album, a proper video collection in BluRay, or even a documentary to name a few.

shes nice but a bit boring. White Diamond was testament to that

Please elaborate.

When Kylie isn't in heels in a interview something is definitely up I watched TFI Friday religiously in the 90s but I've never seen that interview before.

Never seen that, she was so drunk (or seemed so) wasn't she...I love drunk Kylie!...

What is quite apt... "I'll think I'll give that acting a rest.... two hollywood films that have been less than full-filling...I should stick to music" LISTEN TO DRUNK KYLIE!!!!

drunk / stoned / wasted / high / tripping, whatever, just never saw that "back in the day", just very funny now looking back..

I always loved the pixie hair-do though....
