DFD sounds incredible live!
Dance Floor Darling is still a rush and I’m glad it at least got a performance now. That new version of Can’t Get You Out of My Head was lovely! Just enough flourishes added to make it sound properly disco and fitting the current era. ‘‘Twas also nice considering it just had it’s 20th birthday, will always remain god tier pop.
Properly excited for DISCO 2.
The perfect 2 I think.
I really hope I'm wrong but looking at 2022 tour dates announced so far it looks very very crammed.
I don't think we're in for a tour for at least another full calendar year.
Not sure what you mean by crammed? A quick flick through The O2's listing, which I believe still holds the title of the world's busiest venue but I could be wrong, there's an entire week free in March, 10 days free in a row in late April, 9 days free in a row in early May (between Dua and Little Mix...what a lineup that would be) and most of July and August free too. I'd personally expect a tour announcement in the next month with an arena tour starting around April-time followed by a few outdoor summer shows again.
I went through the Hydro's 2022 listings and it just felt like there was quite a lot going on.
Fingers crossed we'll get hear something about a tour soon whenever it is.
Her voice is sounding so good, I bet she's itching to tour!
Phew the version of Head really went off. She looked and sounded absolutely sensational.
Dance Floor Darling sounds much better played live and without though flat, cheap stems she used on the studio.
Guess it shows that the (or rather 'my') problem with DISCO isn't the writing (and why Golden ended up being such a solid record). It was the production.
Dance Floor Darling in that second verse, she gave a very good vocal.
Listening again I think the only thing live with DFD were the guitar licks and the vocals. Sounded like much of it was a backing track.
She looks SO much like Debbie Harry here. Particularly at the start.
Had to rewatch those two performances, just brilliant.
I'm not sure it works quite the same when it's an album re-issue. For a brand new album/album campaign sure but I don't think they'll be doing pre-orders months in advance. It will most likely be a relatively fast roll-out.
I forgot how good this was. And, it sounds tailor made for the Disco era. If there is a Disco tour, I'd love it if this made it to the setlist.
I know it won't.
Always loved this, she looked and sounded great here. Wouldn't mind it being in the tour either.
Great vocals, interesting choreo, lots of love in the room. Was a good watch, even though Disco isn’t one of my faves, really enjoyed this.
I’d imagine this will be a quick turnaround and be out October/November. Be stupid to wait and miss out on potential Christmas present bundles of albums and tickets. She’d be best to try and get it released before everyone comes out like Adele and Ed!
