I love the whole Aphrodite album, everything about it including the photos - she looks glorious! I'm so excited for tomorrow!

Aphrodite was great. This album is very similar in the sense that there's a sound / theme throughout that makes it feel cohesive, rather than a collection of hot producers/songwriters, which X / Kiss Me Once suffered from.

Jeez, talk about over analysing! What I meant was her team, management and particularly label will have had an overall say in what direction they were pushing her new music. I'm not saying she's not involved in that, but as a pop act (male and female!) don't usually get to make those decisions. Nothing to do with being a woman or not!

I have been listening to album on loop through my phone at work and to me the sound is great, less polished and clinical as more electronic albums. To me it almost sounds 'live'. I don't know if it happened during recording and they have just left it in. The songs sound like the have been sung from start to finish, rather than just going in and doing a line/verse at a time.

The Sigala track she demoed was co-produced by The Invisible Men, so it's not Lullaby...a couple weeks ago he hinted that it might appear on his debut album on Twitter.

Just made it through my first play-through and I'm not disliking it, but not looooving it. Not worrying me at all though, it's very very rare that I like an album the first time I listen to it. I was 100% indifferent when I first listened to CRJ's EMOTION and now it's my favorite pop album of the millennium (feel free to judge). I'm looking forward to listening to it again later.

What the actual hell at Japan not getting the Deluxe Edition? They're missing out on some of the best tracks on Golden, aka Lost Without You, Rollin' and Every Little Part of Me, I hope the Deluxe is released in Japan some day.

Most albums can take a few listens, most of my favourite albums ever are ones that grew and grew on me.

That is unusual, Japan has for many years always been the best places for release. Normally they release great Deluxe Editions and brilliant Maxi CD Singles in the 90s.

Can someone find the KMO-era video where she's being interviewed and she says something along the lines of "I've never had to talk/ been asked about my age this much". I've been looking but can't find it.
