Stop Me continues to be a showstopper. It's such a well engineered song and comes across so well live. The way it builds and builds and ebbs and flows... so infectious. And you can tell how much she loves performing it, too. I must be blind, as I missed Florence dancing to Kylie?
I'm not sure I understand all the hand wringing over Radio On. Yes, the vocals were nasal. That's... Kylie. Yes, if she could 'open up' her vocal timbre a little more, it would be better, but she didn't seem nervous or underpowered to me. If anything, I'd hope they'd... dial up the arrangement. In live form it feels almost too acoustic and a touch flat. I bet it would gain some more presence if they, for instance, dialed up the reverb on the backup vocalists and maybe added some other layer -- steel guitar, an "organic" feeling synth or organ or string or something that fleshes the sound out without betraying the original. Anyway, for the first televised performance, I thought it was very good.
