urm...I ain't sure.
I adored her first album but 70% of her other stuff hasn't made me feel anything at all.
I love that she's come from the back of the class with the freaks to leading the A girls to post school self help club, but I hope Kylie ducks out to cheerleader practice.

Are we still pretending Sia is amazing? Sia has been providing bottom draw demos since Diamonds, I sincerely doubt this makes for a potential We Are Born or Colour The Small One.

I can't deny, getting compliments on my arse is lovely, I'm always a little embarrassed to say it's me! Kylie even wrote me a letter that says "your naked rear outshines the fact there is a tattoo of me on your leg" and told me how nice it was when I met her at the launch for the book.

Like I said, that was 17 years ago though!

Well I personally would hope for neither of those, and rather Some People Have Real Problems, aka her best album.

I still think Sia has it. She's proving that the pop star really impacts the songs she writes. The shit ones, like Love Me Back To Live and Cannonball, feel like she had a deadline and threw them together. The amazing ones, like Pretty Hurts, Diamonds, Bound To You, You Lost Me, are worthy of the names who sing them. I think Sia's respect and adoration for Kylie will result in stellar tunes, and hopefully a polished, slightly dark sound.

Executive Producer doesn't meant she's written the whole album. Just that she's overseen it's creation.

Any news on whether the version we heard is the final version or not? Has she not even addressed the leak?

The producer claims it's not the final mix, but they always say that...

That is amazing! What a class act she is. I've seen that photo many times in the 'Evidence' book but I never knew it was you, Craig. Very cool indeed.

The lyrics to Into The Blue mean a lot to me, & Sia being the exec producer SHOULD make me that much more excited, but Sia's been serving up some total shit with Lea Michele & others lately. So I'm hoping for the best...

I for one am very glad that Sia may be executive producing this - I feel like she's someone that would really 'get' Kylie and the kind of music she puts out.

a) You correctly adore Some People Have Real Problems.

b) She does still 'got it', and I think it's a case of her holding back the valuable stuff for the right stars.

Though "Put Yourself In My Place" didn't go top 10, it stayed in the UK charts for 9 weeks, which is a long time for back then, especially a #11 single. Actually, "Confide In Me" also stayed in the UK charts for 9 weeks.

Yes, me too. I can't wait to get that letter back, I left it in the UK when I moved to NZ, but I'm heading back at easter. I'll bring all that memorobilia back to NZ with me I think.

Thanks! She's even more amazing in person. I'd love to meet her again now I'm not so young, naive and shy!

Anyway...

Back to the Sia thing. I think she has still got it, she's probably at her best with people she likes and when she has the time to spend on something, not when she has to churn out hits to a deadline. I can easily imagine her and Kylie getting on like a house on fire and bringing out the best in eachother. It is a very exciting prospect.
