An autotuned dance ballad sounds brilliant if it's anything like Heartbeat. I am excited.
One bad duet (which we have not even heard yet) could stop Kylie's ticket sales?!... bloody hell.
Has anybody said that?
But does it sell Kylie Concert tickets?
I don't care about a hit... it needs to be credible otherwise people just lose interest in her and she won't be a touring act for long
I know i get less and less excited... And i consider myself a huge fan
I feel like this Enrique/Kylie duet is guaranteed to be a top 10 smash in the UK charts.
Actually I think it will depend on how much radio support they'll get.

Umm another top 10 hit besides Into the Blue would definitely help Kylie concert tickets. Its a plus. Its another song to look forward to in the tour besides Kylie's huge catalog.
I thought this year might have been the year they would reschedule her headlining Glastonbury. I guess that bird has flown now?
I would break my Glastonbury embargo for that.
Re: Enrique, it sounds as though the video is happening despite label 'issues' http://www.pressparty.com/pg/newsdesk/enriqueiglesias/view/104008/?isworld=y
Micheal Eavis wasnt hugely complimentary in the press about her a few years ago, so no, I doubt she would get a headline slot. She did appear with the Scissor Sisters a few years back though, which is a nice moment.
Really? That's odd as he would have booked her originally. Unless he hated X too?[/QUOTE
Well, he is one of many management that run glasto, his daughter also being one of them, he is just more public. I think when she was originally booked she was in the right spot as far as reuputation for that sort of slot, a heritage artist with just about enough cred, it was pre cancer, with her touring with her mega succesful Showgirl. I remember at the time loads of rumours circulating about what was planned, including one about her performing a drum solo!
Anyway, I think that moment has passed now. If this era is a huge success then perhaps we could see her doing it but I think now she might fit better on the bill of Wireless or the more commercial festivals. Or perhaps Lattitude at a push. I get the impression this era is very much about making her a credible commercial artist once again, instead of a heritage artist.
Personally I think if they can have people like Dolly Parton (rumoured) and Shirley Bassey at Glasto im not sure why a greatest hits type performance by her wouldnt work now. She has enough of them to make up a huge performance and although perhaps seen as a bit lightweight by serious muso types her huge hits are undeniable.

"She was going to do it years ago but then she was ill,” he said. "We've all moved on. We've moved on to different things now."
Its almost as if he was pissed at her for cancelling. Its not like her 2005 'Ultimate Kylie' era couldn't be applied to any year going forward, Its pretty much what her live shows are now. The hits and some new ones.
