I didn't score it 10? Really?
You shocked by that? Your 10's are like diamonds.
So, first couple for the morning?

This track was mainly Inspired by the sounds of 60's girl groups, especially The Ronettes and the album A Christmas Gift for You from Phil Spector.

One of those moments in Kylie's career that will forever frustrate me, it was a Christmas classic in the making and it got (firstly) left on the album and secondly not even performed at the Christmas show?! Fuck!
Most comments praise this but mourn the lack of live performance...
@mrdonut - “To start fallll-ling” is amazing
Hawks wanted a live outing...
@hawkings24 - Wish she'd've done this at the Royal Albert Hall it's so good
WKOK loves the Elvis nod...
@WhatKindOfKylie? - Kylie does her best Darlene Love karaoke spot here, and comes out of it rather well. One of the best retro feel Christmas song by any artist in recent years and just madness she didn't perform it anywhere during the album promotion! Not even at the Royal Albert Hall!!! Love the little nod to Elvis's own Christmas material too.
Oh, Ray...
@Ray - I can't really judge this in January but seeing that I never felt like listening to it in December either… sorry.
AF has next Xmas wrapped up...
@AlmostFamous - love this one and it's exactly the type of thing I thought she would be basing the Kylie Christmas foundations on. Release a home video next year for this one, appear on Jools Holland and X Factor final and jobs a good un.
Gaz saw classic potential with this...
@Pop Gaz - What a great Christmas track, I know why they went with the Coldplay track (despite never performing it live) but this was the track that had the potential to be a perennial favorite, so a lost opportunity.
RRS doesn't get the adoration?
@RRS - I do like this, but I don’t get the want of the people for it to be a single. It isn’t that strong. Still criminal she didn’t perform it at the RAH or anywhere else for that matter.
Another call for a live version!
@idratherjack - If there was any justice this would be a perennial Christmas classic. Love the Phil Spector "wall of sound" Motown pastiche production. I wish she had promoted this as a single (whatever those are nowadays) but in truly Kylie fashion she even paid dust to one of her best songs at her own bloody Christmas show!
Sophia prefers these Xmas originals...
@SophiaSophia - Kylie really should have done more original songs on this album cause they are the best songs on here.
Let's round off with...
@Andsov - Yes! This is how you do 60s pastiche!

Co-written by 90's dance artist Liz Winstanley...
- Was meant to have been performed before 'Spinning Around' on the
Fever Tour
A pitched down version sounds scarily like George Michael...

Didn't notice this much at the time, but the last few years I've grown to love this song and I'm pleased others did too!
(Mostly) positive comments here.
Donut slates dance compilations...
@mrdonut - For all intents and purposes, this really belongs more to a 2001 Ibiza dance compilation than a mega-selling album that boosted the fortunes of our Queen. Yet it’s still infectious in its own way and I do love her whispery vocals
A few praised the great opening...
@CorgiCorgiCorgi - Great opener.
@hawkings24 - Great opening track.
@RRS - Great album opener, so effortless and cool.
@One Stop Candy Shop - Excellent album opener (take notes, '2 Hearts'!). This could come out today and it'd still be modern.
A few really didn't...
@DJHazey - What a terrible opener for such an iconic album.
@2014 - bit of a weak album opener in my opinion.
@Andsov - Such a weak album opener. Still anonymous and I really don't like her vocals.
For WKOK it's lacking...
@WhatKindOfKylie? - For an opener for what is the biggest selling Kylie album to date, you'd expect something a bit more instant than this. 'More More More' for me is one of those songs that is perfectly acceptable, but just lacks that extra something special and does not really hit the ground running.
A punny Sprock...
@Sprockrooster - I do not want more more more of this. I can take no more (pun intended)
Ray is so extremely complex...
@Ray - I love, love, love those opening beats and bass. I read a review of this album which said that it’s dance music with lyrics being “confessions of a bimbo”. Well. Yes. Lyrics got significantly dumbed down from
Light Years, not to mention Deconstruction period. But this track’s got me wanting more more more because I’m a homosexual and sometimes I just need to slugdrop (and then get my back fixed by a physiotherapist).
Gaz praises dem sexy vocals again...
@Pop Gaz - A very simple song but her delivery really elevates it, the final “more’s” of the chorus are very very sexy.
Atomic Kitten and a 10, is that the number of poundshop PA's they've done recently? (I do love them)
@tylerc904 - I wish 'Feels So Good' opened the album (Atomic Kitten’s version is a 10/10!!) but this sets the tone for the amazing pop ride to come. Instant nostalgia for me, as it was my only Kylie album for years.
I question the sanity...
@idratherjack - Used to totally write this off and wish it was a cover of the Bananarama/Rachel Stevens classic but it's actually a lowkey bop.
Oooh roblognick ain't up for the nasalness...
@roblognick - The minimalist production is a stark contract to
Light Years as an introduction to the next era. Nasal Kylie as well.
Kylie once accused of being Rick Astley, now being George Michael?!
@SophiaSophia - I loved this so much when
Fever came out but overplay has ruined it for me. So when I'm bored I play it with the pitch changed cause it really would be a great George Michael song.
Only judge the crap by the ______ that's judging it... *blows kiss*
@Mikey1701 - Opening with this load of crap really doesn’t bode well for the parent album does it?
Let's end with this brilliant summing up...
@Remorque - This is a fantastic opener to the
Fever album and you get a great feeling of what to expect from the rest, really. She sounds as sensuous as ever and the disco production has a great groove.
More later!
