At this point I’m just going to give Kylie Ann my sort code and account number and be done with it.
Undeterred by the low-sales week and the mixed critical reception, Kylie sat down at some point in 2004 and said YOU WILL skip a beat and move with my body for the next twenty years and it shows.
Slow is one of those songs that I think has just grown as time has gone on and since Kylie has been mixing other songs within it has taken on a whole new life. I would be quite happy with a Slow remix album that interpolates all the different songs.
The only version that didn't work for me was the jazzy Aphrodite Les Folies version - but then it morphed into the amazing Chemical Brothers mix. I think Slow mixed with Fashion is still my fave though.
Slow/Love To Love You Baby, is my favourite of the many Slow mash ups.
Slow, mashes up so well with many a song. Legendary track.
