It’s actually showing as #2 Dance/Mix show chart. It’s always so odd and fascinating looking at the parallel universe of her US chart histories haha https://www.billboard.com/artist/kylie-minogue/chart-history/dnc/#

Do we think the Someone For Me Video will be released in early 2025?
Maybe a video for Good As Gone as well?
Or should we pray for visualizers a la Tension I?

Since its release, the only songs that have stayed the course on my Kylie playlist are ‘Taboo’, ‘Good As Gone’ and ‘Someone For Me’. These are the ones that scream perfect rerelease material, whereas others feel a little filler, a little how some of the material felt when Steps did a similar release with ‘What the Future Holds Pt II’.

It is as if the other songs are simply milking the success of ‘Padam Padam’ rather than fleshing them out to be hits in their own right. Time may change perceptions on other songs, however these are the only songs currently worth revisiting.

I have tried but I don’t really vibe with “Good As Gone”. I love the lyrics but that chorus is massively grating, and is physically unpleasant to me and I dread hearing it every time nn.

Also, while “Kiss Bang Bang” and “Hello” are definitely the children of “Padam Padam”, they along with “Taboo” and, of course, the epic LCA are the highlights of the album for me and the main reason it’s in heavy rotation. If they went with a standard reissue, I would’ve selected just those four and “Someone For Me” to add on.

I'm still listening to most of Tension II.. the only songs that haven't made the cut for me are (imo, the abysbal) Diamonds and also Dance to the Music (which just feels so dated).

I love Hello, Kiss Bang Bang, Someone for Me, Taboo, Good as Gone and Lights. I think Shoulda is a lovely finishing track too.

I almost feel like the Tension era could be split into two halves with the likes of Padam, Tension, Lights, Kiss, Hello etc (the fun, harsher / sexier songs) clubbed together and then Hold On To Now, Things We Do For Love, You Still Get Me High, Good as Gone, Shoulda Left You played separately showcasing the softer/80's style electronic pop and disco.

1. Padam
2. Tension
3. Lights Camera Action
4. Kiss Bang Bang
5. My Oh My
6. Hello
7. Someone for Me
8. One More Time
9. Hands
10. Edge of Saturday Night
11. Drum
1. Taboo
2. Things We Do For Love
3. Hold On To Now
4. You Still Get Me High
5. Running
6. Vegas High
7. Shoulda Left Ya
8. Good As Gone
9. Story
10. Heavenly Body
11. Somebody to Love

I love your two lists and they work incredibly well thematically. The only edit I would make would be to swap ‘Taboo’ and ‘Someone for Me’, but apart from that, the track listings look spot on! I might steal this order of tracks and give them a relisten and see if any of the newer tracks stick!

Those were the two I was torn about switching! They can fit on either but I just went with the idea that Taboo felt more classic disco from 70's/80's and Someone For Me feels more fresh/modern production.

Absolutely, and can completely see how they can switch between the two. Both playlists are perfect and after trying them last night, it definitely flows a lot better!

I kind of saw it as a tale of two parts.. Lust and Love. Part I being lust/no strings attached and Part II being falling in love / heartbreak.
Taboo is possibly out of place on Part II but I was desparate to make both albums the same amount of tracks lol
