Yes! Exciting! Shame it'll be 12am Sydney time when it starts!
So in anticipation of opening, what are our predictions on the staging and visuals?
I’m predicting quite a simple stage layout with big screens but with incredible lighting elements to make it more immersive. Not many stage sets, more a mood driven show through screen backdrops and lighting.
Personally I’d love a surprise spectacle or a big theatrical moment though!

Now that the Tension Tour is finally kicking off, I can™t help but think beyond just the setlist and outfits . Im excited for the whole show and what Kylie is going to bring to the stage this time around!
With Aphrodite: Les Folies, we knew in advance that the production was going to be breathtaking. The stage concept was revealed before opening night, and we even got a glimpse of a drawing that gave us an idea of what to expect. On the other hand, for KylieX2008, I dont think we had much insight beforehand, which made the surprises even bigger. For Golden and Kiss Me Once, we at least got some teaser trailers leading up to the tour.
For Tension, we know only about the stage layout
.I watch other artists perform whether live or on YouTube and I can’t help but compare them to what Kylie has done in the past and what shes capable of. Its been a while since she has done a full-on, large-scale production, and I have high hopes that she ha going to deliver something truly outstanding. Especially considering that some of the designers working on this show have collaborated with Billie Eilish and other major artists.
