I've had a theory since Hyde Park last year that she's going to "pretend" someone's requested I Should Be So Lucky, because that way it's in the show but it's not "part of the show". I mean let's be realistic, no die hard in the front row is gonna be requesting a song she's performed on more or less every single tour she's ever done
Yeah, does she even hear the requests with her ears in? It's just an excuse to perform Lucky and then somewhat of a deep cut while pretending to have a request section.
The way if she would have asked my section for a request I would have literally screamed "TOO FAR" in her face
"BUTTERFLY! BUTTERFLY!!!"

Pleasantly surprised to see these come in after several fans were underwhelmed.

Passing thought but as she’s opening with Lights Camera Action, couldn’t they have done anything more interesting with “I’m two seconds away/I’m about to arrive” as the bloody opening lines of the song?
Although maybe that’s also a point about the overall lack of *direction* of this tour… Like I don’t really see that there’s been much creative decision-making/interpretation/enquiry away from “Wear this dress til you need a break, cossie change from this rail of things D&G sent over, rinse, repeat. We’ve got the mixes already, just need to pre-record a couple of new video interludes; and we’ll busk the choreo”.

This CIMW mix and choreography is definitely straight out of the Vegas show.
The request section bait and switch is another area of slight… laziness, and reluctance to fan service… in this tour.
Sure, serve the masses Lucky at their “request” if you must. But would it hurt to practice a couple of shallow cut rotation songs properly (like Please Stay), and commit to the idea?
After all, if Taylor can cycle through practically every song she ever recorded on her last tour….
