Yeah I can see this being a song she does now and again as I imagine it’s tough for her with those high notes to do well every night.I'm so curious about Story. A fabulous track, but I feel like it could easily sound shrill when performed live.
She performed it at the Shepherd's Bush gig in 2023. It was ok, but yes, moments of it were a tad shrill. Some more vocals on the track to warm up the chorus would be better.I'm so curious about Story. A fabulous track, but I feel like it could easily sound shrill when performed live.

The emotional heart of Tension honestly.I’d much prefer Somebody to Love over Story.
Quite possibly?I wonder if they've got any U.S. promo planned. I guess there are fewer and fewer opportunities for TV performances, but I feel like a well produced medley on a U.S. show (and, subsequently, posted all over TikTok, IG etc.) could help move some of the thousands of unsold U.S. tickets.
Excellent review, and sounds like you had a fabulous time of which pleased to hear!Wow, tonight in Sydney was fantastic. I don’t know what all the complaints are about.
Is the stage design simple, yes. But it is really well used. The light and lasers are great too. I would agree that the screens at the beginning are a little dull compared to the rest of the show, after that they’re all pretty fantastic. My only other minor niggle was a couple of the times she went off to change the transition was just dark and a bit clunky.
But the actual themes were quite clear to me, there were references from club culture, 70’s through to now. Pop art and pop artists, club kids. Some nice little nods to Kylie’s own history too, Confide especially.
The set list was a non stop party and the only slower moments, Say Something and Confide in Me, were gorgeous. Confide was one of the best performances of the song I’ve seen.
We did a little happy Mardi Gras message too, which was nice. Lots of interaction etc. she did a bit of Hand on Your Heart for the requests and Lucky.
Kylie’s charisma, stage presence and genuine emotion are the stars of this show and I can’t believe anyone would be disappointed after being there in an arena with her on this tour. We were in the 2nd row and all the new songs were well received, even Last Night I Dreamt I Fell In Love. Fantastic night.
