Spotify charging premium rates for 320 kps is the main reason why I switched. Another reason, they pay peanuts to artists. Plus, this playlisting biz is too similar to payola of yesteryear. An oligopoly set up for the streaming industry is our only hope. So a 100% to Padaming in Dolby Atmos.
This song really deserved a Fever/Body Language era video.
If this has as much momentum as it does now with only two week since release then I think we are nearly at the point of a guaranteed summer hit...maybe even the sound of the summer. Most casual Bobs won't have the radio on all the time and will only catch the track at odd points but as more and more exposure to this beauty of a track happens then the more people will jump on board. As let's be honest, the quality makes it sell itself.
Like I keep saying, the video is so cool too, quirky and weird enough to be cool but accessible to Joe Public. I honestly think there is a chance of a number 1 with this if all the pieces come together right.

I really think this song has legs. And that feels surreal saying that about a Kylie single in 2023.
There a was a Kylie impersonator performing in Via last night, she performed wearing the white gown from Can’t Get You Out Of My Head and she even performed Padam as the encore, the crowd loved it, she was amazing, it was iconic.
How's the song doing in the US so far? Obviously not expecting anything close to UK and Australia performance.
It's #61 on US iTunes but not charting on other platforms ATM
Spotify taking forever to add it to other playlists. Workout playlists especially need this.

Perhaps it's too early to say this, considering that it's only been out for a little over a week, but perhaps "Padam Padam" is Kylie's "Believe" moment for those of y'all who refused to believe that "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" was her "Believe" moment.
