Kylie Minogue

Rhythm of Love is the obvious strongest album I think.
It took Kylie an album or two to find her groove and her voice. It's not that unusual with 80's pop singers, look at Janet Jackson's first two albums, most people don't even know them as Control (album #3) was the stronger album.

"Rhythm Of Love" is one of the very few albums which I like all the songs in it.

I was listening to In My Arms today and what an iconic song, iconic video, iconic looks which famously Lady Gaga was also inspired from. What ashame that Kylie hasnt worked with Calvin Harris after he really hit the jackpot......is it unlikely they can work together, have they fallen out? The leak that happened with In My Arms wasnt Kylie's fault, it would have made a great opening track from her album X but it wasnt to be.

I hope they are still in good terms?

Calvin worked on Too Much for Aphrodite as well as In My Arms and Heart Beat Rock for X.

Wasn't Disco also produced very cheaply? I don't think a Calvin track would come cheap, even if he's past his peak.
She recorded her own vocals because of Covid and London lockdown. Then she recorded the 3 new songs for the Disco re-issue in her Melbourne home studio. She was photographed outside a recording studio in Melbourne last year too. That was probably for the Lady Gaga cover?

Calvin - I am not here for this.

Go spend a month in Stockholm Kylie and work with some cool Swedish writers and producers.

I don't know what she has planned for the upcoming year be it an eventual tour or another album, but it's absolutely time to strike on a vinyl re-issue if it's possible considering the turnaround time (so really this is something that should've been in the works a while back). The fact that her biggest albums are generally extremely difficult to find or totally unavailable on vinyl especially given the performance of the Disco era on vinyl is frustrating to say the least.

I don’t think there will ever be a time where her past albums are always and widely available on vinyl. The economics for continual production are not there.

They seem to do well with limited production runs on reissues like with Fever last year. So I’m sure that will be the model for any reissues.

Also, if you really want them the vinyls are not difficult to find. They're expensive though.

2023 - all I want is a new album!
And a tour.
And I had a dream that Nicole Kidman produces another TV series in Australia, and she casts Toni Collette and Kylie in it.
