She’d normally need to sell around 5,000 to make Top 10, so it could potentially outpeak the original, but she’s picked a week with a lot of new releases (Arctic Monkeys, Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen), plus the week before has The 1975 & Beyoncé’s vinyl release, both of which I imagine will stay in the Top 10 for a second week - so I’m not sure how likely Top 10 is.

Regardless, I think Team Kylie will be pleased with the outcome, it’s very minimal effort for them and shows that fans are still invested in her back catalogue outside of the hit albums - and is a nice in between eras way of making some coin.

She's had something out in shops for Q4 almost every single year since Light Years, if not a new record then a DVD, live album, greatest hits or a repackage. Generally, the only years missing a Q4 release are the ones when she had product scheduled for Q1 of the following year (2006/7 Showgirl:Homecoming CD, 2009/10 Aphrodite, which slipped to the cusp of Q2/3, 2013/14 Kiss Me Once, 2014/15 Kiss Me Once: Live at the SSE Hydro DVD)

This Q4, will probably be the same case too.

I'm going with Impossible Princess vinyl being this year's Q4 Kylie product. Queen of consistency.

Actually Picture Discs sounds way better now that in the past. The ugly Madame X one sounds great, for example.

It's very hit and miss, the No Doubt Push And Shove one for example is vibrant and impressive but then you have others that are noisy as hell.

1988 really was her year, I remember Sky or Super Channel had a UK Singles Chart Top 20 of 1988 video countdown and Kylie had 5 entries in the Top 20. My Madonna-on-a-1988-break ass was fuming!

I found the chart and Got To Be Certain is 21 so maybe the chart was revised, but still, iconic.

Cowboy Style seemed to be a favourite of hers to perform live, and could be easily combined with a Golden song into a mini tour section - and if her next album/joint tour is still dance and disco themed then have a Space Cowboy section!
