Gate Times have ranked Kylies lead singles including Padam, I know it’s all subjective and somethings have to be near the end but poor Into The Blue and Word Is Out.

https://www.gaytimes.co.uk/originals/kylie-minogue-lead-singles-ranked/

Also, was Sparks not released on iTunes at the time? I was obsessed with it and knew every word yet I didn’t have a record player at the time and I’ve never really been one for leaks etc so im thinking it must have been released officially somewhere.

You arrive at #7, see BTDYK, start syaing "how can it be possible ? BTDYK so low ! Unbelievable!" then PP, SA and so on (not to spoil) and you really know Kylie is that singer ! Amazing discography!

My Kylie lead singles ranking from best to worst (if there was such a thing!)

*Listen, I’m counting “Timebomb” as it has a video, (digital) EP with remixes, and was the lead up to the K25 Time Capsule boxset. *manicure emoji*

A lot of her second singles are incredible too so I'm looking forward to what's next.

See: Step Back In Time, On A Night Like This, In Your Eyes, Red Blooded Woman, Wow, Magic

Her second singles are nearly always better than her leads, I even prefer In Your Eyes to Can't Get You Out of My Head to be honest dd

I'll be here all day trying to rank the leads but one thing I will say is I've always thought Confide In Me is absolutely fantastic, one of my favourite Kylie songs ever.

Just an offhand comment unrelated to the conversation at hand to say that Padam (and associated discography listening this week) has really highlighted Kylie94 as one of my top Kylie albums. It never used to be, I'm very much a Light Years onward fan as that's my age range but dipping back into that album now at 35...it's just clicking!

I'm obsessed with how 'Where is the Feeling' sounds like a direct precursor to Light Years.

The deconstruction era was my personal fav.
Impossible Princess and KM94 are my top two Kylile albums respectively.
The musicality, vocals and maturity. Simply devine!

This might just be me, but does anyone else ever go through celeb instagram accounts to see what mutual followers they have with you or other random followers?
For example Kylie is followed by Dominic Monaghan AKA Merry from Lord of the Rings which I find oddly fascinating.

I can't help with the others, but You Make Me Feel was Kish Mauve (and they still went for 2 Hearts).
Kylie co-wrote “You Make Me Feel” and gave it to them. They considered it a “pop swap”.

“Lose Control” was the other song they submitted that she recorded and, for some reason, rejected.

EDIT: Now that I’ve heard Kylie’s demo version, I see they completely changed the lyrics. I’m so used to Kish Mauve’s version (on their very good debut Black Heart) that it’s so weird and I think giving it to Kish Mauve was the right move.
