Everything from All the Lovers-upwards are 10/10 classics. I listened to all her lead singles back to back earlier this week and it's shocking how poorly Dancing has aged in only 5 years. 2 Hearts was such a bizarre choice for the lead single considering the wealth of amazing songs Kylie recorded for X (including the b-sides and unreleased songs).

For the most part, Kylie has a bulletproof collection of lead singles, and she chooses the right song. The only ones I'd swap would be Some Kind of Bliss for Breathe, Word is Out for Do You Dare? and 2 Hearts for In My Arms.

Also, was Sparks not released on iTunes at the time? I was obsessed with it and knew every word yet I didn’t have a record player at the time and I’ve never really been one for leaks etc so im thinking it must have been released officially somewhere.

Her second singles are nearly always better than her leads, I even prefer In Your Eyes to Can't Get You Out of My Head to be honest dd

I'll be here all day trying to rank the leads but one thing I will say is I've always thought Confide In Me is absolutely fantastic, one of my favourite Kylie songs ever.

Just an offhand comment unrelated to the conversation at hand to say that Padam (and associated discography listening this week) has really highlighted Kylie94 as one of my top Kylie albums. It never used to be, I'm very much a Light Years onward fan as that's my age range but dipping back into that album now at 35...it's just clicking!

I'm obsessed with how 'Where is the Feeling' sounds like a direct precursor to Light Years.
