Kylie Minogue

Just an offhand comment unrelated to the conversation at hand to say that Padam (and associated discography listening this week) has really highlighted Kylie94 as one of my top Kylie albums. It never used to be, I'm very much a Light Years onward fan as that's my age range but dipping back into that album now at 35...it's just clicking!

I'm obsessed with how 'Where is the Feeling' sounds like a direct precursor to Light Years.

1. Confide In Me
2. Can't Get You Out Of My Head
3. Slow
4. Spinning Around
5. Padam Padam
6. All The Lovers
7. I Believe In You
8. Into The Blue
9. Hand On Your Heart
10. Say Something
11. 2 Hearts
12. I Should Be So Lucky
13. What Kind of Fool
14. Better The Devil You Know
15. Dancing
16. Word Is Out
17. Some Kind Of Bliss

The deconstruction era was my personal fav.
Impossible Princess and KM94 are my top two Kylile albums respectively.
The musicality, vocals and maturity. Simply devine!

This might just be me, but does anyone else ever go through celeb instagram accounts to see what mutual followers they have with you or other random followers?
For example Kylie is followed by Dominic Monaghan AKA Merry from Lord of the Rings which I find oddly fascinating.

I can't help with the others, but You Make Me Feel was Kish Mauve (and they still went for 2 Hearts).
Kylie co-wrote “You Make Me Feel” and gave it to them. They considered it a “pop swap”.

“Lose Control” was the other song they submitted that she recorded and, for some reason, rejected.

EDIT: Now that I’ve heard Kylie’s demo version, I see they completely changed the lyrics. I’m so used to Kish Mauve’s version (on their very good debut Black Heart) that it’s so weird and I think giving it to Kish Mauve was the right move.

Only You

Poor The Word Is Out being so low on virtually every's list. One of my favourites.

For me these lists are impossible as my favourites change all the time.

At the moment Padam Padam is my top as its new and fresh but last weekend when I had a KM PWL weekend all of the lead singles for the 4 albums would have topped my list.

The only lead single song, 2 Hearts is probably my least favourite of them all. Wow should have been the lead single from X and The One as the second.

Has anyone found some concrete info about the Rest Of Our Lives demo?
Some users are uploading the track on TikTok saying it's a Tension outtake, but that lenght, those build-ups and EDM beatdrops totally scream 2013 to me.
I do really think it might belong to the same sessions that brought Skirt to us, as I've read someone else, more reliable, saying it dates back to the early KMO recordings overseen by Roc Nation.

Everyone on the other site are saying it's Kiss Me Once. It certainly sounds like that to me as well.

@Wayne1978 I'm not sure who it is on Feel, I'm guessing it is one of the writers as it's still quite a rough demo, but I can't find any info on who wrote it.

I’m sure somebody on here said it was Kiss Me Once but was revisited for Golden?
