Kylie Minogue

I agree with you regarding "Time Will Pass You By." Although if I had my way, I would've scrapped it entirely.

I'm choosing to regard the track list of Australian or Japanese edition of Body Language as the official track list because "Slo Motion" is the perfect closer, imo.

With X, I feel like "Cosmic" is a great closing track.

I think that "Fine" is a solid closing track for Kiss Me Once, although I guess that you could also substitute it for the title track. The same goes with Disco closing with "Celebrate You," although it could also close with "Say Something," I guess.

What would you close each album with?
I think I’d scrap most of the closing tracks, to be honest! Here’s how I would do it:

Time Will Pass You By to At the End of the Day. The latter is a much more interesting song.

After Dark to Slow Motion. It’s truly baffling how they missed this song, it’s one of Kylie’s greatest!

Cosmic to Don't Know What It Is. This might be controversial, but I love the 00s rom-com feel of this track. I can totally imagine it playing at the end of a film.

Fine to Waiting for the Sun. Again, same as At the End of the Day.

Celebrate You to Spotlight. I feel like Spotlight sounds like the track they play at the end of the night at the club, when the lights are turning on and everyone's about to leave. It's a great track.

Interesting topic. I'd say my ideal album closers per album, were actually spot on. I don't like Low Blow ending the deluxe of Golden though whereas I think Rollin' feels more suitable as a bookend to Dancing.

Oh, I didn't realize that we could substitute with unreleased tracks. I absolutely agree that "Waiting For The Sun" would've been the perfect closing track for Kiss Me Once if it had been officially released.

I probably would close X with "Extraordinary Day (Taprobane)." That's always given me album closer energy.

I know that ‘X Tracklists’ are a bit of a joke around here, but as someone who hasn’t heard any of the unreleased tracks, what are the best ones to look for.

I randomly came across I’m in the Mood For Love and really liked it.
There's a lot of unfinished ideas amongst the endless X demos so plenty are skippable. Fall for You, Lose Control and In The Mood For Love are the only ones that I think were truly missed opportunities.

Does anyone have a list of all the televised one-off gigs and TV specials Kylie has done through her career (things like The Kylie Show, the recent Radio 2 gig etc). I seem to have lost track and I would be very grateful if some kind soul has a list they would be willing to share.

I stumbled across a video on YouTube which was a compilation of snippets of the leaked tracks that came out earlier this year and I'm genuinely surprised that some of these tracks were left in the vault over some of the ones that were actually released. "Rewind" would've been a highlight on Golden, while "Shooting Star" would've been a cute addition. I might've actually liked Disco if it had included "Disco" and "Fingerprints," but I guess that I should just be happy that we were spared "Tia Maria."

No idea what era "Feel" and "Like Lightning" fit into, but they were both stunning.

I wanted one but none of the stock in the local shops had one that wasn't bashed or creased, and the price it was retailing at was a bit on the Can't Justify It but I really wish I'd bought one now.
